ICAD 2016 will culminate in a musical spectacular, featuring performances from Key Note Speakers from the Festival, and the ANU's very own Experimental Music Studio.
The concert will feature exciting works that encourage audience participation, including a piece for 80 iPhones, and a Satelite Gamelan performance.
Transposed Dekany - Greg Schiemer
Performed by ICAD participants and the ANU Experimental Music Studio. This piece is a microtonal performance using the Satellite Gamelan app.
BioLogging Retrofit - Nigel Helyer
Performed by the ANU Experimental Music Studio. A mechanical/performative sonification of environmental knowledge from Antarctic bio-Âlogging data.
MalLo March - Katie Wolf and Reid Oda
Performed by Katie Wolf, Steven Landry and Daniel Verona. This is an audience-customised performance with MalLo, a predictive percussion instrument.
Genetic Sequences - Stephen Barrass
