Veronica has a Bachelor of Music from the Australian National University, which she completed in 2007 and a Masters degree focusing on Percussion Pedagogy completed in 2013. In 2006 Veronica played the Carl Vine Concerto for Percussion and Orchestra with the Canberra Youth Orchestra. In 2007 she studied at the Jacobs School of Music, Indiana University where her teachers were John Tafoya (former timpanist with the National Symphony) and Kevin Bobo. While there she was awarded the place of timpanist in the school's Symphony Orchestra and was invited to play with the Columbus, Indiana Philharmonic. Veronica regularly performs as Principal and Tutti percussionist with the Canberra Symphony Orchestra. Performance highlights include being Principal Timpanist with AYO in 2011 and travelling to South Korea with Synergy Percussion to play at the Seoul Drum Festival in 2011. In April of 2014, Veronica performed Ewazen Marimba concerto with the National Capital Orchestra. Veronica has been the classical percussion teacher for the ANU Open School of Music since 2010. Four of her students have been participants in the AYO Young Symphonists and the AYO National Music Camp and many of her students have won or placed in the Australian National Percussion Eisteddfod. Four of her students are now full scholarship holders at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
