Paul Dal Broi completed his Diploma in Jazz from the Canberra School of Music in 1989. He has performed with a number of renowned jazz artists including Eric Ajaye, Sandy Evans, James Greening, Miroslav Bukovsky, Warwick Alder, John Mackey, Brendan Clarke, Mark Sutton, Nick McBride , Kristen Cornwell , Catherine Hunter and Trish Delaney-Brown.
Paul has played many varied styles of music over the years including reggae in “The Black Brothers”, Acid Jazz in “Kongora” and modern jazz in “Vertical”. He currently is part of “The Funky Fedoras” and varied projects with Rafael Jerjen.
Paul teaches jazz piano full time from his home studio in Canberra and is committed to helping students reach their full potential. His other passion is finding popular songs to reharmonize as fresh new vehicles for creative improvisation.
