The ANU School of Music is reaching out from behind brutalist concrete walls, to present FREE weekly lunch time concerts in the Pop-up Village venue. Every Tuesday from 12.30 to 2pm during teaching periods, we will present musicians from a range of musical styles and backgrounds: students, staff and Alumni from the School of Music but also talented musicians, both students and staff from across the campus.
Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life. It can be an escape and music can have a profound influence on our emotional, cognitive and physical health. Call in for lunch, make a date with bae.
Tuesday 15 August Pop-up Venue concert will feature Gate Five in Dub: Gate Five has been soundtracking uni life for years - whether in the sunshine or late into the night. For this session, he's digging deep into the history of instrumental reggae and dub music.
