FLORIADE: Pocket Fox & Hark the Heart

Date & time

12–1pm 6 October 2016

Stage 88
Commonwealth Park

Rosanna Stevens

Pocket Fox are an eight piece folk-pop band who play original, eclectic music full of rich vocal harmonies and catchy horn lines, with an unexpected line up of instruments. Their latest album, The Brightest Light, was released February 2016.

Along with a distinct and interesting sound, the ever-endearing onstage banter, quirk, and friendship make Pocket Fox irresistible listening on a Thursday among the flowerbeds, with an ice-cream and the soft chatter of people discovering the delights of Floriade. If you can't make it to the Festival, tune in and listen along online with ArtSound FM, who will be covering the concert live.

Essentially a village of musicians, the band – comprised of ANU alumnus and a host of local talent - is pretty big. But it's worth it. You'll see.
