Join the ANU Music Engagement Program’s Free Community Singing Group

Tuesday 26 July 2016

Supported by artsACT, the MEP engages thousands of people in music making each year.  Its outreach philosophy encourages music making as a part of the normal social and cultural lives of all participants, regardless of age, background, ability or skill level.

The Community Singing Group will be rehearsing towards the ‘Big Gig’ outreach concert on 25 October 2016, 10am and 11.30am in Llewellyn Hall.  The group will help to lead the singing of 1300 children and community members (and do a couple of special performance numbers), which will be live-streamed to the world.  So come and join the singing and have some fun!

When:  Rehearsing Monday evenings (except school holidays), August 15 – October 24, from 6.30-8pm, with Big Gig on Tuesday 25 October 10am and 11.30am.
