Konrad Olszewski weaves a spellbound concert around the Music Gurus of Soul – Chopin and his
intimates – those he musically adored liked Bach and Mozart, highly regarded like John Field or part of his intimate circle Liszt. In creating his unique music in the Etudes, Nocturnes, Ballades, Polonaises, Mazurkas, Scherzos, Chopin discovered the “soul of the piano” and influenced future composers like Wagner, Debussy, Scriabin, Ravel, Szymanowski and many others. This concert reveals some of the secrets of these models and influences.
