You are invited now to book for our first concert of 2015 which will be at the Hungarian Embassy on Wednesday 18th February. The Ambassador will be finishing her posting in Canberra before the middle of the year, and particularly wanted to host a fourth concert for young performers, continuing a tradition which she initiated. The musicians include many who have played at this Embassy previously, some of them now having reached tertiary level.

Performers include Mia Stanton and Toby Aan (violin), Elizabeth Gibbs (voice), Chris Bottomley , Bernice Chua and Mia Huang (piano), Miles Wrigley (cello), Chloe Sinclair and Cora Fabbri (viola). They will perform both solo and ensemble pieces by Brahms, Chopin, Bach, Mozart and others. The concert will be followed by a light supper.

As many of you know, our concerts at embassies are quite special occasions, and in February you will have the chance not only to hear talented students perform but also to help us show our gratitude to Her Excellency, Anna Sikó for her generous support of the Friends.

Bookings are essential and close at 5pm on Monday 16th February. The booking form is attached.  Prices are $45 per person, $40 for members of the Friends, and $20 for parents of performers. Queries to 6230 1993 or
