Colleen’s prestigious career as accompanist and concert pianist began with studies in Europe with Karl Ulrich Schnabel and Paul Badura-Skoda. As a concert pianist Colleen has played in Australia, Malaysia, Brunei and Europe and made many recordings on CD and Radio. Resident in Australia for many years she was a Lecturer, Accompanist, Vocal Coach and Repetiteur at the Australian National University School of Music  where she was associated with many young musicians in Opera Productions, Graduation Recitals  and fund-raising Embassy concerts.

Concerts in 2010 included two Double Concerti for Fortepiano and Harpsichord by CPE Bach and JS Bach with International Organist and Harpsichordist Christopher Hainsworth and the Concord Strings directed by Vincent James; and a Concerto with HB Youth Orchestra at Lindisfarne College, Hastings. After living in Hawke’s Bay for 6 years where she was Director of Music at St Matthews Anglican Church  in Hastings and a Trustee for the New Zealand Singing School, Colleen has returned to Canberra, where she is continuing her active concert and teaching career at the ANU School of Music and at the Wesley Music Centre.

Concerts during 2012 included  a solo fortepiano concert at the Wesley Music Centre; a concert for Soprano, fortepiano and harpsichord with Sarahlouise Owens and Calvin Bowman; a programme of two piano concerti with the Concord Strings in Napier, NZ. She also conducted a Masterclass session for young pianists on playing the harpsichord and fortepiano at the Wesley Music Centre.
