Immerse yourself in the rhythms of Croatia! Showcasing the beauty and diversity of Croatian culture and traditions, croACTian, brings the pulsating, vibrant rhythms of Croatian traditional folklore, music, song and dance to Canberra this August.

As part of Canberra’s Centenary Year celebrations, croACTian honours the contribution of the Croatian community to the development of the nation’s capital over the last century.

Featuring Australia’s premier exponent of traditional Croatian music, song and dance attired in ornate traditional costumes, the acclaimed Croatian cultural and artistic society, ‘HKUD Lado‘, from Geelong, croACTian will showcase in excess of 50 talented, young Australian-Croatians performers, including a 12-piece tambura orchestra, various choirs, talented soloists and a stunning dance ensemble.

Special guests for the evening will be Australia’s best Croatian tambura band, ‘TS Noćna Smjena’, from Melbourne along with local Canberra folkloric ensemble, ‘HFS Croatia’.

Tickets available from ticketek.com.au or phone 1300 795 012. Presented by Adria Cultural Event Management.
