The ANU School of Music continue their series of 2013 Floriade concerts at Stage 88 with ACT Jazz Orchestra, Canberra's premier professional Big Band.  Comprised entirely of professional jazz musicians living and working in the ACT, this large ensemble boasts some of the most highly qualified and skilled artists in the country.  Performing the full compliment of styles and genres from the 20s through to modern jazz, their repertoire also includes original works by members of the orchestra and local composers.

The sixteen piece band includes: Trumpets - Dan Mclean, Miroslav Bukovsky, Ben Marston, Steve Carter; Trombones - Valdis Thomann, Rob Lee, Rod Harding; Saxes - John Mackey, Dan Bray, Andrew Hackwill, Doug Hall, Rouslan Babajanov; Piano - Wayne Kelly, Bass - James Luke, Guitar - Greg Stott, Drums - Mark Sutton.
