Fine Music Network Young Performers Award: Nomination Form

The school is currently seeking nominations from Performance Teaching Fellows and staff for the Fine Music Network Young Performers Awards 2013

Entry is open to classical performers who are, at the time of the final:

  • in their final year of undergraduate study or in their honours, and
    • in the instrumental area, is aged 25 and under.
    • in the vocal area, is aged 30 and under.

The national prize is expected to be $5000, a digital radio and a boxed set of CDs.

The ACT prize includes:

  • a cash prize ($500)
  • on-air time (interview and playing of a recorded song) on Artsound FM, and
  • return airfare to Brisbance (provided by the Friends of the Scool of Music)

Conditions:

  • The finalist would need to opt in to the competition and agree to be available on Thursday 14 and Friday 15 November (the student is expected to fly up on 14 November) to attend the final.
  • The finalist must be available to appear on Artsound FM on 14 October.

The academic record of nomination students will be considered. In addition, you may include a short statement (250 words amaximum) supporting your nomination.
