Bachelor of Professional Music Practice - 2010 will see the introduction of the innovative Bachelor of Professional Music Practice tailored to prepare you for a range of careers including studio music teacher, ensemble director, festival and community music co-ordinator, performer or sound designer. You will be equipped with the relevant musical, performance, marketing, financial and administrative skills for these careers. You will also be able to take advantage of the high level of instrumental and vocal tuition offered in the School of Music.

Bachelor of Education (Secondary Music majors)
The School of Music and the University of Canberra offer a single or double major for students enrolled in the Bachelor of Education at the University of Canberra. Students are required to undertake the same diagnostic tests and audition/interview as performance students. However, the interview will focus on their aptitude and motivation for teaching in a classroom.
Associate Degree Specialising in Music
This joint program aims to broaden the offerings in Music performance and research combining the current strengths of both institutions, Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) (contemporary music technologies and industry skills) with ANU (strengths in music performance and research).
This program is not listed in the UAC guide. Admission is by application to the CIT at the beginning of the program. In the second year of enrolment students must also make an application to the ANU Admissions Office for enrolment in the ANU component.
