Single Studies
Single Studies (Individual Tuition) from School of Music staff is offered to applicants who demonstrate potential and commitment to the study of their chosen instrument, subject to the availability of teaching hours. The length of lessons varies from half an hour to one hour per week, depending on the student’s level of achievement.
Tuition is offered in brass, string and woodwind instruments, guitar, voice, percussion, piano, fortepiano and harp, conducting, composition and all jazz related areas, including trumpet, trombone, saxophone, bass, guitar, drums and piano.
Students perform in studio concerts each semester and may be selected to appear in School of Music concerts as part of the School’s concert program. Additionally, students may be invited to perform in the School of Music Symphony Orchestra.
A limited number of scholarships are offered each year.
